Team Beachbody - Overcharged credit card
This is the bait and switch and overcharging phenonomen. Yes I've been impressed with Tony;s workouts, so we thought we would get the 10 minute workout.
Of course the whole television commercial is offering the package at 3 paymens of $39.95 but call now we waive the third payment. Okay, I call, get the upsell of the next package at another $140... fine, I'll take that because we do like to workout. Of course you get the free stuff and whatever...
it wasn't free... I asked repeatedly okay, do I have four payments of $39.95, no ma'am, you will have two payments of 39.95. My card is charged $122.87. I asked for a receipt repeatedly over email and got NOTHING.
I finally had to call when the charge actually processed. Oh you got the deluxe package and we are going to charge you another $80+. So I'm on the phone canceling the whole *** load because I'll go burn a copy from somebody before I pay for this bait and switch. and the *** I get from customer service, we are sorry about our sales team.
So supposedly a credit has been issued (we shall see) and I have the option to return it.
